Pero’s drive to succeed is deeply personal. His brother, Lenier Pero, is also an undefeated professional heavyweight boxer with a record of (11-0, 8 KOs). The two brothers support and inspire each other as they pursue their boxing careers. Tragically, Pero lost his mother to cancer when he was just 12 years old. Her passing has been a profound motivating force for him, fueling his determination to become a world champion in her memory.
